Today the children drew a self-portrait. Every child had their picture on a sheet of paper. The picture was cut in half and the children drewbthe other half of their face.

This week the children received a class picture and a short letter from a first grade class in America. They are from Sheldon school.
Today we are writing letters back to the American class. The children will draw a picture and write a letter about their favourite classes, foods, hobbies and sports in Mallorca.

PEACE DAY AT CEIP REI JAUME I
Monday, January 30 is the worldwide day of peace. The children are making necklaces decorated with colorful beads and a peace symbol. To celebrate this day the children will wear their necklaces at school.

ANDY WARHOL
Last Tuesday the students (2nd Primary) learned about the famous American artist Andy Warhol. The art project for the day was to create a picture similar to Andy Warhols painting named "LIPS". The children colored their lips with different colors of lipsticks and stamped their lips on a sheet of paper.
